Community Care Program Training

Dyna:  From Caregiver to Community Activator

As I have developed over the last 22 years from a Caregiver to a Care Provider business owner, I am learning to answer my own question, “I’m only one person, how can I help more people?”  When I spoke aloud the words “I cannot do it alone,” I realized the power of this acknowledgement. Now I am activating a whole community to share the joy of serving an overlooked demographic.

I’ve been thankful to discover other great people who want to serve the elderly community. Through my training school, Heart To Serve Institute, I am developing these caregivers to have the same high standards and quality of service that I hold as my personal mark of excellence.

In my years in the senior care business, I have developed relationships with many other excellent service providers with whom we collaborate in our care and advocacy for Seniors.

Starting as a humble Caregiver in 2000 to becoming the owner of Bosworth Gardens Residential Care for the Elderly in 2004, then Bosworth Gardens II in 2007, then First Promise Care Services in 2015, and Heart to Serve Institute in 2019, my husband and I and our staff have gone further in helping Seniors and their families than we ever dreamed possible.

And yet the question remains:  “How can we help more people?” That’s where the vision for BLISS Care Foundation came from.  And this is why we are looking outside of the Care Provider industry to mobilize a community of VOLUNTEERS, also, whose hearts are moved with compassion and the joy of serving.

You can help us accomplish the goal of providing hope, dignity, and care to many low-income Seniors in our community.  Come experience the joy by joining hearts with BLISS to serve underserved Seniors!
